Artists receive prizes at Credit Union Art Competition awards night

Rathmore & District Credit Union were delighted to hold their annual awards night for the Credit Union Art Competition for 2024.

The theme this year was 'The Joys of Life' and a large crowd attended The Killarney Heights Hotel on Wednesday 20th of November to admire the many art pieces on display and also to accept awards which were presented by the Credit Union.

There were prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each age category and there were school prizes as well for students of each school that entered.

The 1st place winners move onto the next stage of the competition - the Chapter Credit Union stage which takes in all the 1st place winners in Kerry and West Limerick. The Chapter stage of the competition will be held on the 30th of November in Tralee.
